Important Platform Liability Disclaimer

  1. PawMarket is a listing platform only and is NOT responsible for the animals listed.
  2. All transactions and animal transfers are strictly between the buyer and seller.
  3. PawMarket does not breed, own, or sell any animals.
  4. Sellers are solely responsible for compliance with the Animals Protection Act 71 of 1962.
  5. PawMarket cannot guarantee the health, condition, or legal status of any animal listed.
  6. Buyers are strongly advised to inspect animals in person and request all vet and legal documents before purchase.
  7. PawMarket reserves the right to remove any listing that violates South African animal welfare laws.

PawMarket is a listing platform only. Sellers are solely responsible for legal compliance under the Animals Protection Act, Consumer Protection Act, and applicable municipal by-laws.

Sellers must provide truthful listing information including vaccination, microchip, and veterinary records where available.

Listings may be removed if they violate welfare law, platform policy, or include prohibited practices such as mutilation and irresponsible breeding.
